Sponsoring a Child

Sponsorship/Godparent; is a unique opportunity to connect and support one very special child. The children in our program are orphaned, abandoned or come from extremely poor families who are eager to escape from the poverty that has trapped their family for generations. Mary Mission’s philosophy is that through education, shelter, healthcare and spirituality, together we can “break the terrible chains of poverty.”

Currently, there are over one hundred twenty-five children being sponsored by godparents. We have over four hundred children waiting to be sponsored! Sponsored children receive education costs, shoes, food and medical care. We also pay school fees, school uniforms, books and supplies for the boys and girls.

We appreciate all sponsorships. You can get involved by sponsoring a child in our program for only $300 per year/$25 per month. The children exchange letters, cards and pictures each summer when the mission team is at the school. Sponsors also have the opportunity to visit their sponsored child by joining the mission team and meeting them in person. Here are just a few letters the children have written to their Godparent(s).
